A partire da settembre 2021, questa competizione annuale per club vedrà un mix di club professionisti e vere e proprie selezioni combattere per il titolo della Supercoppa attraverso un entusiasmante format di competizione.
Le 8 squadre vengono suddivise in un girone orientale ed uno occidentale, per la fase iniziale del round robin. Ogni squadra partecipante giocherà partite in casa e in trasferta in sei round giocati tra settembre e dicembre.
L’attesissima competizione inizierà con un derby tutto russo nel Round 1 con Enisei-STM che ospiterà la Lokomotiv Penza. Il weekend di apertura vedrà anche la squadra portoghese, Lusitanos, i rivali spagnoli del Castilla y Leon Iberians e la squadra olandese Delta, dare il benvenuto ai Brussels Devils ad Amersfoort.

Al termine della fase a gironi, le prime due squadre di ogni conference si qualificheranno per le semifinali, che si giocheranno nel mese di aprile 2022, con le vincitrici della conference che ospiteranno le sfide.
La finale si svolgerà nel maggio 2022 per incoronare il vincitore inaugurale della Rugby Europe Super Cup.
Tutte le 27 partite della competizione saranno filmate e ampiamente trasmesse su piattaforme TV e digitali in tutta Europa e nel mondo.
